Every year MCDF sponsors tournaments in soccer, netball and basketball with more than 10 village schools. MCDF supplies sports equipment, trophies, prizes and Christian teaching in this program.
This program greatly aids the mentorship programs in the schools and the villages. These events are big crowd pullers for both the young and the adults and help in community building which is fertile ground for spiritual formation groups. The kids’ self esteem is built and their sense of discipline is matured and the children become teachable.
